We’re working with a high-volume perpetuals DEX building core infrastructure for onchain trading.
They need a backend engineer to help scale a system handling real trading activity — not theory.
The role:
- Build and scale backend systems powering a live perp exchange
- Work on distributed systems, performance, and reliability
- Own features end-to-end (design → deploy → iterate)
- Collaborate with a small, fast-moving team
What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years backend engineering experience
- Strong TypeScript / Node.js
- Solid PostgreSQL + SQL experience
- Experience with distributed systems
- Comfortable working remotely, async, high ownership
Nice to have:
- Cloud experience (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Web3 / DeFi understanding
