Backend Engineer – DeFi Infrastructure (Series A)
Onsite – New York
We’re working with a Series A DeFi infra team building low-latency systems for onchain trading.
This is a backend role focused on performance, reliability, and real-time systems.
The role:
- Build and scale backend services for trading infrastructure
- Work on low-latency, high-throughput systems (Rust)
- Design and optimise APIs and data pipelines
- Own systems end-to-end (design → deploy → iterate)
- Work closely with a small, highly technical team
What they’re looking for:
- Strong backend engineering experience (production systems)
- Experience with high-performance / low-latency systems
- Solid understanding of systems design and architecture
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
- Interest in crypto / trading systems
Nice to have:
- Experience in trading, market data, or financial systems
- Familiarity with crypto / DeFi infrastructure
- Background in performance optimisation
