Engineering Lead, Stablecoin

We are hiring for a Tech Lead (very hands-on) to join a crypto-backed stablecoin firm (pre-seed)

The firm;

They’re building a crypto-native structured product protocol designed to deliver scalable, secure dollar liquidity from crypto collateral
Think of it as the “BlackRock of DeFi” meets systematic quant fund, with the same rigor you’d find at a global investment bank — but fully on-chain

And they’ve turned some pretty big heads in the DeFi space already after closing out a $2.5m pre-seed round

The role;

Architect & lead the build of a full-stack, high-performance DeFi platform; from smart contracts and backend systems to secure integrations with custodians, CEXs, and real-time data feeds
Work directly with the founding team to help define everything from technical architecture to hiring culture
Ensure 24/7 uptime, institutional security, and composability from day one

Experience needed;

Have architected & built low-latency backend/trading infra to execute systematic strategies and manage protocol state
Can integrate securely with custodians (e.g. Fireblocks, Copper), CEXs (e.g. Binance, Coinbase Pro), DEXs, and oracles
Good experience with designing and implementing gas-efficient, upgradeable smart contracts (Foundry / Solidity)
Understanding of frontend dev, DevOps pipelines, monitoring systems, testing coverage, and CI/CD standards

Have been in a player-coach role previously, responsible for both hands-on engineering and team leadership
