Crypto Payments (Series A)

We’re working with a Series A team building a 1-click crypto checkout used by real merchants and users.
They’re hiring a very hands-on engineering manager to lead a small team while still writing code.
The role:
- Lead and grow a team of engineers (hiring, mentoring, setting direction)
- Stay hands-on — contribute to code and system design
- Build and scale backend systems powering payments and checkout flows
- Work closely with product and founders on roadmap and priorities
- Drive execution — ship quickly without breaking things
What they’re looking for:
- Strong engineering background (backend or full-stack)
- Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced environment
- Still actively coding and comfortable owning systems
- Experience building high-reliability / payments / transaction systems
- Able to operate in a lean, high-ownership team
Nice to have:
- Crypto / web3 experience
- Experience with fintech or payments infrastructure
- Background in scaling early-stage products
Comp:
- Up to $350k base
- Equity included
